Gordon Dam Campground

Located on the St. Croix Flowage (Gordon Flowage) in the town of Gordon, this park offers visitors 33 total camping sites: 22 with electric hook-up and 11 non-electric campsites, each containing fire rings and picnic tables.  The park has opportunities for picnicking, boating, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing, excellent fishing opportunities, and access to ATV/UTV trails.   

Other amenities include a fish cleaning house, canoe and boat launch with a handicap accessible dock, children's playground, picnic shelter, newer vault toilets, several picnic sites with grills, and an official "Watchable Wildlife" viewing area.

Gordon Dam County park is also the start of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and provides access to the North County National Scenic Trail a 4,800 mile trail that spans from North Dakota to Vermont. 

The park is located at the headwaters of the St. Croix Scenic River, seven miles west of Gordon on County Road Y, which is approximately 37 miles south of Superior on US Highway 53.

Campsite Reservations will be available for the standard Camping Season Starting February  1st at 9 am for the Current Camping Season. 

 

 

 
 

Once a Reservation is made a Customer Portal confirmation email will be sent.  Once registered through the customer portal campers will be able to make minor changes, cancel, or view reservations through the Customer Portal of each campground.  Make sure that you are logged on to the correct customer portal if you make reservations in other Douglas County Forestry Campgrounds.
